About us
Our team consists mainly of people engaged in research and development. The strategic direction of the company is managed by the co-owner Peter Kočalka, who studied management in software engineering in the field of artificial intelligence and has experience with innovations in local as well as international projects.
We have 4 people in research and development who are dedicated to hardware design, firmware development, cloud solution development and mobile and web application development. The CEO, sales and marketing is covered by co-owner Stanislava Hӧrčíková, who has experience in international trade and online marketing. The electronics we have developed are currently used worldwide in almost 20,000 beehives.
We used our own capital to start the company and received an investment worth EUR 95,000. These funds are used for further research and development. In 2020, we managed to buy out the investor's share and the original founders remained in the company. We have created a new
organization Bee hive monitoring s.r.o. which is dedicated to bee hive monitoring and has become the world market leader in this field.
We have long-term contracts with suppliers of electronic components and contracts for printed circuit board manufacturers. The entire technology is proven and is used by thousands of customers. We are currently working on the further development of monitoring devices. A total of 10 people participate in the running the company every day, the rest is covered by suppliers.
The organization is dedicated to the development of low-energy IoT (Internet of Things) sensor devices. Our development covers the entire area from electronics design, electronics production and testing, firmware development, industrial design as well as development of mobile and web
applications.
The total number of devices currently installed is close to 20,000 and is used by 3,000 customers. We currently have customers worldwide in the following countries: Albania, Algeria, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Chile, China, Ireland , Italy, Japan, Jersey, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Tunisia,
Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia
The sensors can monitor parameters such as: temperature, humidity, air pressure, noise, CO2, Carbon-based gases, CH4 - methane, LPG - propane / butane, C2H5OH - Ethanol, H2 - hydrogen, CO - carbon monoxide, O3 - Ozone, H2S - hydrogen sulphide, NH3 - ammonia, SO2 - sulfur dioxide, NO - nitrous oxide
The sensors can also send real time control signals and thus control processes, such as automated heating, cooling, starting electric motors, switching appliances on and off or other processes according to specified requirements.
We have developed our own real time parallel embeded operating system for low-energy devices, which runs directly on SoC (System on a chip). The solution also includes a communication protocol creating its own communication sensor network.
We are currently working on pilot projects in several industrial segments, from which we want to develop a use case manual and marketing brochures enabling the creation of a network of integrators on a global scale.
